At Marine Expert Ltd, we value our customers and want to ensure you are satisfied with every purchase.
This page explains your consumer rights to return and withdraw from the contract, as required by EU law.

Consumer’s Right to Return and Withdraw from the Contract

A consumer is any natural person who is not purchasing goods or services for commercial or professional purposes.

Right to Terminate the Contract

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days and starts:

from the date you (or a third party nominated by you, who is not the carrier) received the goods — if your order contained one or more goods delivered together;
from the date you received the last item — if your order contained multiple items delivered separately;
from the date you received the last part — if the order was delivered in multiple parts or lots.

by sending a clear statement (e.g. by post or e-mail).
You may use the sample withdrawal form provided below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, you simply need to send your communication before the 14-day period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from choosing a delivery type other than the standard one we offer), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date we receive notice of your withdrawal.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless agreed otherwise.
You will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of having sent them back — whichever comes first.

You must send back the goods promptly and no later than 14 days from the day you informed us about the withdrawal.
The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period expires.

Return Costs and Responsibilities

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
For items that cannot be sent back by regular mail due to their size or nature, the estimated cost of return is up to €50.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right to withdraw does not apply to contracts:

for custom-made or personalized goods;
for goods that are perishable or have a short shelf life;
for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery;
for goods which, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other items;
for audio/video recordings or software if the seal has been broken after delivery.
