The ManOverBoard is a combined day and night marker, designed for attachment to an emergency lifebuoy (min. 4 kg) by a lanyard. When the lifebuoy is released, the marker indicates its position by producing dense orange smoke for 15 minutes and activating 2 lights burning at 2 candelas for 2 hours. Can be installed up to 60 m height. Supplied with bracket.

In accordance with SOLAS requirements, a light-buoy buoy must be installed on each side of the ship to signal the Man Overboard distress signal. The buoy is mounted on a steel bracket that is attached to the ship and must be attached to the life buoy.
The design and technical characteristics of the COMET buoy allow it to be installed at a height of up to 60 meters above sea level (according to SOLAS requirements, the height should be at least 30 meters). In the event of an emergency, the buoy is easily separated from the mount, throws out with the circle overboard to indicate the location of the circle (person) on the water. Light signals (at night) and dense orange smoke (during the day) help in the search for the person to be saved. The duration of smoke generation for 15 minutes when immersed in water for at least 10 seconds.
