High strength PE rope is one of the strongest, strongest and most innovative ropes on the market today. The rope is made of high strength polyethene. HMPE ropes are impregnated with a durable coating to reduce wear and extend service life. The strength of the HMPE rope is comparable in diameter/diameter to a steel rope. Construction: 100% High Modulus Polyethylene (HMPE).
The Dynalight Ref. 13 features a breaking strength close to steel. Very supple and very stable under load, it shows a great resistance to fatigue, flexing and abrasion.
Advantages:
Easy and quick to splice.
Use:
Heavy load handling, soft shackles, lashing, straps, spinnaker guys or halyards. Extra cover is easy to fit and recommended on areas working with clutches, winches...
Construction:
12 plait HMPE (High Modulus Polyethylene) or Dyneema® SK78 braid with PU coating for wear protection. Available in a Dyneema® SK99 version.
